Managing Broker, Associate Broker


  • Answer and respond to incoming calls
  • Voice Mail - retrieve and respond to messages, clear VM on a regular basis
  • Manage email account
  • Qualify and schedule showings
  • Show available suites on behalf of a Licensee
  • Qualify tenancies, reference calling
  • Write Tenancy Agreements, including Form K, Addendum’s, etc...
  • Interact with owner’s only as directed by a Licensee
  • Data entry for new tenancies and updating information as it changes
  • FOB and key, purchases, pick-ups and on occasion delivery as needed
  • Must maintain professional standard as set out by the Real Estate Council of BC
  • Back up Leasing Assistant Level One, re: rent Increases
  • Back up Reception, as needed

  • Work Location: 204 - 1168 Hamilton Street, Vancouver, BC
  • Physical Requirements: lifting of files, and on occasion completed file boxes, agile and physically fit, active
  • Hours of work: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, flexibility is afforded to accommodate showings on weekends and evenings.
  • Challenges: dealing with the public, working in tenanted properties


Unlicensed Assistants may only act on behalf of and at the direction of a Licensed Property Manager or Licensee when communicating with Owner’s or Tenant’s. At no time will you engage in negotiation or act without express direction by a Licensed Property Manager or Licensee.

Licensed Property Manager, Furnished/Unfurnished


ADVENT is seeking an enthusiastic, professional Licensed Property Manager to oversee a mixed portfolio of furnished and unfurnished rentals in Vancouver.

This Person will ensure properties are maintained effectively minimizing vacancy and placing qualified tenants.

ADVENT has been providing property management and rental services to the condo and single-family home market since 2006.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a very busy portfolio with tenancy turnover as often as monthly as well as long term tenancies. This challenging position requires acute attention to detail and a high standard of management.

  • Marketing and showing all available suites as they turnover
  • Inspect every suite on a regular basis
  • Communicate effectively
  • Valid drivers license and vehicle
  • Licensed under the RECBC - Rental Property Management
  • Manage and approve applications to a standard set by the company
  • Move-in / Move-out inspections and documentation
  • Effectively turnover a suite in a high standard of repair and cleanliness
  • Be knowledgeable of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Understand all lease agreement documentation and execute
  • Advise and support our clients in a professional manner
  • Adhere to the Real Estate Act of BC and act accordingly


  • License with RECBC - Rental Management Services (Not negotiable)
  • Min. 1 year work experience in Property Management
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation
  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong people skills and customer service
  • Available to work flexible hours
